To be on stage and to look on your own life with methods of art is an intensive experience - and only a few get the chance to do it: People that dedicate their whole life to be an actor and interpret texts from highest artistic quality. In the documentary theater we expand that group of people and the issues radically - the whole life can be used as “theatrical material”, potentially everybody can present themselves and be seen. 

Over the course of the GLOBART Academy a group of artists collects strategies and practices of the documentary theater. They offer in this laboratory participants the opportunity, to experiment with the stage and the theatralic point of view one’s own life and to develop documentary miniatures.
