1. Who is the audience of the GLOBART Academy? ▾
The GLOBART Academy is addressed to a broad audience: we aim to reach people, who are open for change - across generations, as well as social and political boundaries.
We want to inspire people to be the change they want to see in this world. We wish that our participants share their ideas! EVERYBODY is very welcome at the GLOBART Academy. We are looking forward to diversity.
2. When and how can I participate? ▾
During the three weekends (Th - Su) we want to transform the ESSL museum into an artistic-philosophical LebensRaum, in which we create atmospheres that confront us with the origin of life and liveliness:
Thu, Oct. 3rd - Sat Oct. 5th 2019
Thu, Oct. 10th - Sat Oct. 12th 2019
Thu, Oct. 17th - Sat Oct. 19th 2019
It will also be possible to buy tickets for certain evening events.
(With a valid ticket you are able to meet exceptional thinkers, exchange ideas with interesting doers, take part in an artistic project, visit a vegetarian cook course or develop projects, on how we can safe our planet.)
Here you can buy tickets!
3. How to get to the ESSL Museum? ▾
There are many ways to reach the ESSL museum. With climate change in mind, we encourage our participants to use public transportation or - even better - your bicycle. The S40 leaves from Spittelau train station (Vienna) every 30 minutes directly to Weidling train station (Klosterneuburg). From there it takes a 7 minute walk to arrive at ESSL museum.

4. Where can I stay during the GLOBART Academy? ▾
The temporary LebensRaum at the GLOBART Academy enables participants to live on site. Either with your own tent or a caravan, we will provide the necessary space around the museum, which provides a shared “living” during the time of the Academy.
We also recommend these nice hotels, where we already reserved a certain amount of rooms for our speakers and participants.

Your participation pays off!
We would like to say thank you with low participation fees.

During the GLOBART Academy we want to prevent garbage.

We provide daily vegetarian or vegan lunch (included in your ticket). We are looking forward to helping hands for setting and cleaning it up.
