Julia Polzer, born in Krakow, began her artistic education at pre-school age. She took ballet lessons and later piano lessons. In 1993 J. Polzer moved with her family to Vienna, where she studied music and movement pedagogy/rhythm at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. She graduated with honors in 2012 and has been a committed teacher ever since. Later, as part of her studies in church music, she was trained as a conductor by Erwin Ortner and Jordi Casals. Polzer is currently completing her studies in vocal pedagogy. For many years she has worked regularly as a choir director and voice trainer in various music projects for children and adults in Vienna and abroad. At the GLOBART Academy she will start the day singing.
