Timewalk in the Anthropocene
Time matters. The way we think about our evolutionary past, our impact on earth’s complex climate, and the future of humanity depend on our perception of time. In our project, we will will walk together and experience different timescapes that surround us in the Anthropocene: the time of a river, the time of nature in an industrial area, the time of human conquest of the environment, the time of evolution and conservation, and the time of our desires about the future of life on earth. We will reflect together on the implications of these different timescapes for the future of humanity. We will walk from the ESSL museum to the Konrad Loren Institute in Klosterneuburg. We will take breaks and chat. We will encounter animated and inanimate companions. We will learn together for a better Anthropocene.
