Workshop
TEXTE MIT WIDERSINN
with Petra Nagenkögel
-
Parallel with other Events
Together with the participants, the author and philosopher Petra Nagenkögel does not want to depict reality, but aims at using literature to express the absurd, surreal, and seemingly meaningless. In this writing workshop, the participants are to discover the amount of meaning in the apparent nonsense and the amount of truthfulness in a ‘crazy’ perception. What our gut feeling has to tell when language is all upside down – this and much more can be explored in writing.
Petra Nagenkögel is a philosopher and author. Since 1996 she has been the head of the literary association “prolit”. In 2019 her book “Dort. Geografie der Unruhe” was published by “Jung und Jung”. She is a guest at the Literaturtage Rauris and runs writing workshops in the youth prison in Laufen, with young refugees and at the Literaturhaus Salzburg.
