Artist. Known for her conceptual-pointed work, with drawings made from office supplies, polished chicken eggs, polished wall sections, used paintings, mailed paintings, figurative sculptures. Studied at the Freien Kunsthochschule and at the Staatlichen Akademie der BIldenden Künste Stuttgart. Since 2007 she is a professor for architecture and art at the ETH Zurich. Before that, she was visiting lecturer at the Akademie der bildenden Künste in Karlsruhe, der Staatlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart and at CalArts (California Institute of the Arts, Los Angeles). In her work she gives an alternative reality to the common perception of reality.
